Carved from a solid piece of Italian marble, the Biagio is an image of sculptural beauty (picture below shows two lamps after cutting). When lit, it produces an exquisite aura while providing direct lighting. On/off switch on cord.
Tobia Scarpa was born in Venice and started working in the field of glass at Venini's in Murano in 1958. He's collaborated with Knoll International and designed a whole collection of furniture for Cassina. Since 1960 Tobia has been working with the Castiglioni architects as a designer with Flos. Tobia's designs have been featured in magazines and on display in museums all over the world.
