The Luminator floor lamp was designed by Pietro Chiesa in 1933. It's stem is made in nickel-plated brass while its classic form and design lend themselves to the deco period it was produced. This classic up-light offers an indirect light emission with a dimmer switch to find the perfect level of brightness for your space.
Milan born Pietro Chiesa was descendant of an eminent Ticinese family of artists. In 1921 he opened his own glass shop after apprenticing at the Giannotti studio. In 1932 Pietro Chiesa was requested by Gio Ponti to partake in the artistic direction of FontanaArte; where he was able to express all his creativity by designing over a thousand pieces of different work. Some of his pieces were entered in the history of design and few of them are still in production today. Pietro Chiesa's artwork expresses a modernity and high technical value, for which he is famous.
