The Tubelight Flexible by BCXSY redefines traditional fluorescent lights and bends the rules of lighting, literally.

Collaboration and interdisciplinary dialogue are fundamental to BCXSY's creative approach, culminating in the studio's ability to design in a way that invites its audience to pause, connect and interact. BCXSY (pronounced ‘/bi-k-see/’) is an Amsterdam-based design collective, founded in 2007 by Boaz Cohen (IL/NL) and Sayaka Yamamoto (JP). The delicate, yet deliberate detail in their work is infused with subtle elements of surprise, wit and humor, which lend to its innately immersive quality.

The studio is accomplished in providing their partners with representations of distinct perspectives and shared values, through personal and collective reflection. With an extensive archive from furniture, to wallpaper, and installations, BCXSY's conceptual aesthetic remains rooted in emotion and human experience. BCXSY has gained recognition for its socially responsive projects and their award-winning designs can be found in the permanent collections of the V&A, the Shanghai Museum of Glass, TextielMuseum and M+.

This suspended design arrives fully assembled, for easy installation. Tubelight is available in two variants, with a 60" fixed LED tube or 197" flexible LED tube. With this version, you can shape the flexible tube as desired. Drape it over the sleek black fixture or fix it to the ceiling or wall with the clamping holders. You can position the tube to your liking. With the dim-to-warm functionality, you enjoy complete control over color temperature and light intensity for your desired ambiance. Includes a wireless wall switch to control dimming. Mains and/or ELV dimming is not possible.
