Objects are most beautiful when you can see their history. The mouth-blown glass tells of the art of glassmaking with charming irregularities - the untreated copper ages over the years with a very individual patina.
The Bell Table by Sebastian Herkner turns the usual handling of materials on its head and surprises our perception: here the table base becomes a striking, colorful, transparent glass shape in the room on which a metal body rests. The glass gives the inherently heavy metal a floating lightness. The glass base, traditionally blown into a wooden shape, and the pressed metal body create an exciting contrast and yet formally form a harmonious unit that is reminiscent of the elegant curve of a bell.
With their attractive reflections and material contrasts, the side tables become characterful elements in the living area. They celebrate the beauty of the materials, their colors, surfaces and the traditional craftsmanship. The Bell Table by Sebastian Herkner is a masterpiece of traditional craftsmanship. Each table is handmade, so small bubbles or bumps are also a typical feature.
The tables of this special edition are engraved with a serial number and delivered with an appropriate certificate. The metal top frame made out of solid copper is deliberately unvarnished and will slowly develop an attractive natural patina.
