Pelagus Armchair epitomizes the spirit of the Pelagus collection, a series created with grace and sociability in mind and a contemporary expression in which the materials speak for themselves. High on comfort for long dinners, the armchair has wide wooden armrests that form part of the structure, while still being slender enough to group around a table. The wooden armrests are contoured so the armchair can be stacked in twos.
The Pelagus Armchair can be further enhanced with the addition of an optional cushion covered in exclusive Sunbrella woven fabric. The cushion is weatherproof, durable, and made of foam with an open-cell structure that allows water to pass through while holding its shape and remaining firm year after year.

Teak is a heavy, hard and sturdy type of wood. The high content of natural oils makes it highly resistant, perfect for functional everyday items in your home such as household articles and furniture. Skagerak FSC™-certified Teak comes from Brazil, Panama, Costa Rica and Indonesia. As the wood is untreated the surface will patina and change color over time into a beautiful silvery grey. To maintain untreated wood, it is a good idea to use sandpaper (grit 120-150) once or twice a year.
