The Hortensia Armchair innovatively replicates the beauty of nature. This blooming beauty is inspired by the basic human need for warmth and comfort. Sit down and feel comforted, calm, and soothed. As if you're sitting in a blooming flower, enveloped in smooth and gentle petals. The wondrous Hortensia Armchair will be the softest place in your home.
"The Hortensia Armchair started out as a 3D rendering that soon went viral on social media. Even though the chair didn't exist yet, its success prompted multiple orders. In response, Andrés Reisinger & Júlia Esqué searched for a way to make the chair into a real-life product. They successfully created a limited edition but wished the Hortensia Armchair could be widely available. This proved to be almost impossible, with the chair being called "the chair that can't be made". Together with Moooi, Reisinger & Esqué proved everyone wrong." - Reisinger Studio
Júlia Esqué journeyed through various creative processes before establishing her independent practice. Her projects stir in the intersection between product, fashion and textile design. Andrés Reisinger is one of the world's most sought-after digital artists. His works are as ambiguous as they are meticulously rendered and full of emotion.
Configurable in a range of different fabrics and leathers of your choice, the Hortensia Armchair blooms in any interior.
