Adding a touch of tension and dimension is the interplay between the upholstery and the base, available in either wood or metal. Spine in wood is classic and luxurious, exuding a certain strength of character. Whereas the sleekness of the metal base signals a look that's more modern and light. The upholstery is inspired by techniques that were developed at the Fredericia workshop for Borge Mogensen's exclusive 1960's leather series.

The Spine series includes a variety of products and a growing number of variants, found in deluxe restaurants, bars, hotels and exclusive retail shops worldwide.

The Spine stool features legs of solid oak with a powder coated aluminum stretcher. Seat shell of plywood - beech core with oak top veneer. Front side of seat shell is upholstered with CMHR or HR foam and covered in fabric or leather, finished with cotton core piping. Metal parts are black. Available in two standard heights.
