The Capo Bed is an extension of the Capo series, its simple and modern form enriched with tailoring details that evoke old-world sensibilities. Capo began as a series of seating, initially designed for the Italian restaurant Capo in Shanghai, where the interior design concept was based on a basilica and possessed an old world charm of masonry enclosure appointed with handsomely crafted detailing. Capo is a well-balanced equilibrium between sophistication and utility, between classic and contemporary aesthetic.

De La Espada is a groundbreaking design management firm and leading modern woodworker with a dedicated factory in Portugal. Founded by Lyndon Neri and Rossana Hu, Neri&Hu works internationally providing architecture, interior, master planning, graphic, and product design services.

Available in American black walnut, American white oak, or European Ash in a range of finishes, and a range of fabrics. Bed base consists of several individual timber slats, set approximately 5cm (2") apart. Please note that when using leather to upholster the expansive surface of the headboard, De la Espada's craftspeople will use their discretion to ensure the natural variations in the hide's color and grain are most elegantly displayed.
