Verner Panton was a master of the fluid, futuristic style of 1960s design which introduced the Pop aesthetic to furniture and interiors. He designed the cloverleaf sofa in 1969 for the Visiona exhibition as a spectacular eye-catcher and yet a comfortable place to rest and talk - he ended up creating an iconic collection that truly functions as a social piece bringing people closer to each other. Cloverleaf playfully walks the line between sensuous seating sculpture and modular pragmatism.
